so, this project is the reason i haven't had a new deviation in awhile. i've always been a big fan of ska, and when i saw the checkerboard button at a local bead store, i knew i had to make this choker. it's kind of rough looking if you look close enough...the beads aren't as uniform as they should have been. i was picky at first, trying to find beads that were as uniform as possible, but that soon ended. i'm really happy with how it turned out though, i've spent the past couple of weeks on it but now that i'm done i'm glad i did it. i'm just going to have to hide it from by boyfriend, he hates ska with a passion. it's amazing we've lasted as long as we have.

so i posted a picture of this on my xanga site, and my boyfriend saw it, and this was his comment:
"i was like 'wtf listen to ska more fag' then i realized i was just jealous of how cool it looked"
